Terms of Service – Merit

1. Agreement

By using Merit (“Service”), you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, do not use the Service.

2. Services

Merit automates review requests and reputation management. We may update or improve the Service at any time.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 and authorized to act on behalf of a business.

4. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. Notify us immediately of unauthorized use.

5. Acceptable Use

• Use Merit to send spam, fraudulent, or misleading requests.
• Attempt to manipulate reviews in violation of Google or other platforms’ policies.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service.

6. Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. Fees are non-refundable unless required by law. You may cancel anytime; access continues until the end of your billing cycle.

7. Intellectual Property

All rights in the Service and content remain with Merit. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our software.

8. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranty. To the maximum extent allowed by law, Merit’s liability is limited to the fees you paid in the past 12 months.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
